Steven Bowditch has been struggling on the PGA Tour so much this season that he was ordered to take a drug test Friday after breaking 80 at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
Starting with the WGC-Cadillac Championship earlier this season, Bowditch had racked up five straight rounds of 80-plus in World Golf Championship events (with four more rounds of 80-plus coming between the two WGC events). But he shot a 2-over 72 on Friday at Firestone Country Club.

After he signed his scorecard, the PGA Tour sent him a notice that he needed to undergo a "random" drug test.
