The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without safety Minkah Fitzpatrick against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Fitzpatrick won't play in Sunday's game due to appendicitis.
The 25-year-old has been banged up at times this season, as he was placed in concussion protocol ahead of Pittsburgh's Week 4 matchup against the New York Jets. Head coach Mike Tomlin confirmed his concussion on Sept. 27, but it wasn't clear when he suffered the injury. He didn't miss the next week's game against the Buffalo Bills, but he was ruled out in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a knee injury.
