Ben Roethlisberger probably isn't transitioning to a career as a motivational speaker after he retires from football.
The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback gave a blunt assessment of his team's chances heading into Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
“We’re probably 20-point underdogs, and we’re going to the No. 1 team. I know they’re not the No. 1 seed, but they’ve won the AFC the last two years, arguably the best team in football … we don’t have a chance. So let’s just go in and have fun," Roethlisberger told reporters Wednesday.
While there is obviously some level of facetiousness to his comments, Roethlisberger isn't wrong about the Everest-esque climb the Steelers have coming.
