St. Xavier graduate Connor Buczek coached his Cornell Big Red to the NCAA men's lacrosse national title on May 26, beating Maryland 13-10.
Buczek, a 2011 Bomber graduate, was a three-time All-American for the Big Red and was the 2014 Ivy League Player of the Year for Cornell before being selected second overall in the Major League Lacrosse draft.
