Five years after he left as the greatest player in program history, Kawhi Leonard will be honored by San Diego State with an induction into the school's Hall of Fame. SDSU made the announcement this week.
Leonard, who has become one of the 10 best players in the NBA and won the 2014 NBA Finals MVP, is also the reigning two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year. He made his first All-Star Team in 2016, was a consensus choice for Second Team All-American in 2011, and made the Mountain West all-league first team in 2010 and 2011.
Leonard is one of five former SDSU athletes who will be inducted this fall, on Oct.
