This is now a record-breaking season for Tottenham Hotspur after Ange Postecoglou’s fell to their 20th Premier League defeat of the season.
But of more concern to Postecoglou and the Spurs fans was the fact Dejan Kulusevski was forced off with an injury inside 20 minutes – just 10 days before the Europa League final.
Kulusevski did not look in major distress, but, with James Maddison already out, Spurs will be hoping the Swede can quickly recover after taking a blow to the knee in a challenge from Marc Guehi.
Kulusevski was one of only three players who started against Crystal Palace – themselves preparing for an FA Cup final – from the Spurs side that beat Bodo/Glimt in Norway.
