This morning Grisham tweeted this:
“As impressive as Ichiro's 3,000 hits are, his unwillingness to learn English after 15 years in America amazes me more.”
You’ll be hard pressed to find any tweet the forgettable SportsCenter anchor has with more than single-digit engagements. This one posted at Monday morning had over 1,200 before being deleted about four hours later.
This part is obvious –having the comfort level to understand and quickly respond to questions in English with a huge spotlight on you, compared to not knowing the language at all, is a major difference.
