Spieth makes some magic at PGA Championship

USA TODAY Sports

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. — Jordan Spieth started doing Jordan Spieth things again in Friday’s second round of the PGA Championship.

Plenty of others lit up Whistling Straits with their own fireworks, too, which included the 27th round of 63 in major championship golf.

For the second consecutive day, mild conditions greeted players. But before temperatures started to rise and started baking the course along Lake Michigan, Spieth was unremarkable through six holes. Perhaps he was feeling a tad of pressure after his sister, Ellie, said she wanted her older brother to make a hole-in-one.
