ST. ANDREWS, Scotland – It appears Jordan Spieth isn’t bothered by jetlag, pressure and his lack of experience on the peculiar grounds of the Old Course.
And Dustin Johnson looks just fine after his recent heartbreak.
The two central figures of the drama that unfolded on the final day of the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay last month were reunited on the first tee of the Old Course on Thursday for the first round of the 144th British Open.
Grouped with Hideki Matsuyama, both Spieth and Johnson began in fine fashion with rounds of 67 and 65, respectively.
