A Spanish matador was fatally gored by a bull Saturday three hours south of Pamplona, where the San Fermin Running of the Bulls festival was ongoing.
Victor Barrio, 29, was gored in front of spectators in the eastern town of Teruel. The incident was aired during a live television broadcast (Warning: graphic content).
After a couple of passes with the bull, Barrio's left leg got caught by one of the bull's horns. The bull lifted Barrio in the air and his horn punctured the right side of Barrio's chest as he landed on the ground.
