South Carolina's athletic programs have accumulated almost two dozen NCAA and SEC infractions over the past year, the school reported Tuesday.
The football program was responsible for nine of the 22 violations, the majority of which were found to be minor, or Level III, violations, according to The Associated Press .

One of the violations occurred under former Gamecocks coach Steve Spurrier when he revealed that the daughter of a former NFL player was visiting the school.
New coach Will Muschamp has already committed six violations since taking over the football program in December.
