PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers are in the midst of a miserable 2024-25 season that has fallen well short of expectations. In a season filled with downfalls and a ton of injuries, the Sixers are just trying to piece it together to get to the finish line.
The Sixers signed Phillip Wheeler to a 10-day deal on Wednesday just to have enough players on the roster amid all of the injuries. He made his NBA debut after three seasons toiling in the G League and had four points and four rebounds in a 119-114 loss to the Washington Wizards.
