Seton Hall upsets Villanova for first Big East Tournament title since 1993

The win moves the Pirates (25-8, 12-6 Big East) firmly on the 4-seed radar for the upcoming NCAA Tournament, while likely dropping Villanova (29-5) off the No. 1 line.

Seton Hall sophomore Isaiah Whitehead came into the game averaging 18.2 points per game, and finished Saturday's win with a game-high 26 points. Desi Rodriguez added 12 points and Derrick Gordon scored 10 points off the bench.
