SEC sets NFL draft record with Georgia leading the way

The SEC set a draft record with 79 draft picks in the 2025 NFL draft. No conference had ever had more players selected in a single draft.

A familiar trend continued in the draft. Georgia head coach Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs once again showcased their talent depth with an impressive 13 players selected, which leads the SEC in selections.

The Big Ten finished with the second-most players drafted, 71, of any conference. The Big Ten and SEC had a significant gap in draft picks over the other Power Four conferences. The ACC had 42 players drafted and the Big 12 had just 31 players drafted.
