Free-agent linebacker Sean Spence agreed to a contract with the Tennessee Titans, the team announced on Wednesday.
A four-year linebacker drafted out of Miami (Florida) by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2012, Spence did not play in his rookie season due to a gruesome knee injury, in which he also sat out of all of 2013.
Spence has accumulated 63 solo tackles in the last two years he's seen the field, but has not had the chance to shine due to Lawrence Timmons and Ryan Shazier establishing themselves as the top linebackers on the Steelers and even in the league.
