Seahawks envision Notre Dame's C.J. Prosise as passing-down back

With Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch unlikely to return for the Seahawks next season and Robert Turbin in Indianapolis, Seattle drafted Notre Dame running back C.J. Prosise in the third round (90th overall) of the NFL Draft with the hope of him becoming their passing-down back.

“I think this is a very, very unique player, and I love talking about him,” coach Pete Carroll said, via the Seattle Times. “We were hoping we could get him because we have a very special role that we can put him in and then we can go from there.
