The Oklahoma Sooners advanced to the Super Regional round for the 15th consecutive season with their 12-1 win over the Cal Golden Bears. As the No. 2 seed and now the highest-ranked seed still in the NCAA Tournament, the Sooners will host the No. 15 seed Alabama Crimson Tide in the Norman Super Regional.
Alabama also swept their regional, beating Jackson State 8-0 and then beating Virginia Tech in a pair of one-run games to advance. Meanwhile, Oklahoma outscored their Norman Regional opponents 31-3 over the weekend.
The NCAA released the schedule for this weekend, and the Oklahoma Sooners and Alabama Crimson Tide will play game one on Friday, May 23, at 4 p.
