The New Orleans Saints have ruled out wide receiver Michael Thomas for Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
But it’s not because of the lingering ankle injury that’s kept him sidelined since Week 2. The Saints announced on Sunday that he’ll sit because of disciplinary reasons.
“The change in game status is not injury related-team discipline,” the Saints’ injury report reads.
Thomas had previously been listed as questionable with his ankle sprain.
Thomas reportedly punched teammate
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Thomas had an “altercation” with a teammate at practice over the weekend.
