Ryan Fitzpatrick Reportedly Agrees to WFT Contract After 2 Years with Dolphins

The Washington Football Team and journeyman quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick reportedly reached an agreement Monday on a one-year deal.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the news, noting it is worth $10 million but could grow to $12 million with incentives. Schefter also noted the expectation is Fitzpatrick will start with Taylor Heinicke providing competition.

Fitzpatrick put together a solid 2020 season for the Miami Dolphins. He completed 68.5 percent of his throws for 2,091 yards with 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions for a 95.6 passer rating across nine games (seven starts).
