NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Kansas City Royals beat the New York Mets 7-2 on Sunday to win Major League Baseball's World Series for the first time in 30 years.

With the win, the Royals completed a 4-1 series win over the Mets one year after falling to the San Francisco Giants in the decisive seventh game of the World Series.
