Marquis Wright scored 21 points and blocked a shot to send the game into overtime and Siena beat Loyola (Maryland), 90-82, on Saturday.
Loyola (1-5) scored six straight points, the final four by Andre Walker, for a 76-74 lead with 40 seconds left in regulation. Nico Clareth tied the score with 13 seconds left before Wright blocked Walker’s jumper.
Franz Rassman gave the Greyhounds a 78-77 lead in overtime, but Brett Bisping’s 3-pointer started a run of nine straight points for Siena (4-2), which outscored Loyola by 14-6 in the extra period.
