John Wall does not know if he will be available to play the remainder of the Washington Wizards’ playoff series with the Atlanta Hawks, including Game 3 on Saturday.
Wall, an All-Star point guard, has five nondisplaced fractures in his left wrist and hand. He was hurt in Game 1 of Washington’s Eastern Conference semifinal against the Hawks, the East’s No. 1 seed, but he kept playing in the Wizards’ win. He sat out Game 2 as the Hawks evened the series.
Wall said Friday that the injury was “devastating” and added, “I was excited about playing.
