Roundup: 3 Homers in a Row Lift Texas Over Seattle

Derek Holland won in his return from the disabled list, and Texas hit home runs in three straight at-bats in the seventh inning Wednesday as the Rangers beat the visiting Seattle Mariners, 7-2.

Holland (1-1), who sustained a shoulder injury in his season debut April 10, was activated from the disabled list Wednesday. He gave up eight hits, struck out six and walked none over six and a third innings.

Mitch Moreland and Elvis Andrus each had three R.B.I., and they hit homers sandwiched around Mike Napoli’s 446-foot blast to center off Joe Beimel.

Holland shut out the Mariners until Mark Trumbo hit his 15th homer of the season — his sixth since joining Seattle — in the fifth.
