Rory McIlroy went into Sunday's final round of the Masters well aware of his unfortunate history at Augusta National. But every Masters champion has a signature moment, and McIlroy may have found his on No. 10.
McIlroy bounced back from a double bogey on the first hole to recapture the lead, making the turn with decent separation against Bryson DeChambeau. But given the 2011 meltdown on No. 10, Rory needed to show he had the round in control.
He certainly surprised himself in the process. On his second shot in that par-4 10th hole, Rory dropped the club at the end of his follow through from 189 yards out.
