Roger Goodell talks coaching diversity, games in Mexico in state of league address

MIAMI – NFL commissioner Roger Goodell touched on a wide range of topics in his annual state of the league address during Super Bowl week, ranging from Antonio Brown to the Rooney Rule.

Here were some highlights:

Goodell on games in Mexico: There will be two regular-season games in Mexico over the next two years. The teams will be announced in the spring.

Goodell on AB: “I think the first thing for all of us is to think about the well-being of Antonio. To understand what Antonio’s going through.”

Goodell on diversity in the coaching ranks: On the Rooney Rule, “It’s clear we need to change.
