Rob Manfred hopes to rule on MLB domestic violence cases by opening day

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred hopes to make his rulings by opening day on three pending cases under baseball's new domestic violence policy.

Manfred — in a recent Q&A with Harvard Law Today — discussed a wide range of topics, including pace of play, the DH and negotiations on a new collective bargaining agreement, but the news from the interview involved the Yankees' Aroldis Chapman, the Rockies' Jose Reyes and the Dodgers' Yasiel Puig and rulings on their offseason, off-the-field incidents.
