Rio Olympics 2016: 'Today' gets handsy with Pita Taufatofua, Tongan flag bearer

Pita Taufatofua worked 20 years to get here.

"Here" being "on national television, greased up by Hoda Kotb and Matt Lauer."

Taufatofua, whose shirtless appearance at the Olympic opening ceremony caused a large portion of the world to act as if they'd never seen a shirtless man, started his third full day in the media cycle on NBC's "Today." It was weird.

Taufatofua — or Pita, as Al Roker called him after stumbling over his name — made that face while Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager rubbed him with body oil in front of a nationwide audience.
