Rio Olympics 2016: Michelle Jenneke makes early exit in women's 100-meter hurdles

Olympic athlete/internet star Michelle Jenneke will sashay out of the Rio Olympics without a medal.

The Australian hurdler, best known for her looks and pre-race hip-shaking routine (yes, and her ability, too), was eliminated from the women's 100 meters after finishing sixth in her heat Tuesday.

Jenneke, 23, told Australian media (per news.com.au) she was thrown off by the lack of a full warm-up (officials basically scrapped it for Jenneke's heat because the event was running behind schedule). She also volunteered she has been dealing with leg pain for some time. After throwing out those two ready excuses, she finally said: "I’m not making excuses.
