Grant Golden, the Richmond basketball player who collapsed during a game Saturday, was released from a hospital Monday afternoon, the school said.
The freshman fell three times for no apparent reason during the first half of a 79-72 home loss to Texas Tech. During the sequence, he was running behind the play when he stumbled at midcourt before collapsing near the Spiders' bench. He eventually sat up, but was carried off the court on a stretcher in a frightening scene.
