Richard Sherman Says He Sees 'A Concussion Movie Every Sunday'

The Will Smith movie Concussion has shed additional light on head injuries in the NFL, but Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman doesn't intend to see it because of his firsthand experience.

As part of a press conference posted on the Seahawks' official website (starting at the 7:15 mark), Sherman touched on the very real issue of concussions when asked if he had watched the movie:

"I have not—I see a concussion movie every Sunday for free," Sherman said. "Don't need to go to the theater."

Concussion focuses on forensic pathologist Bennet Omalu, who was the first person to find evidence of chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE, in the brains of deceased former NFL players.
