The Philadelphia 76ers have 10 games left in the 2024-25 season and they need some bodies to get out on the floor amid all of the injuries they have sustained. With Chuma Okeke no longer with the team after his 10-day deal expired on Tuesday, the Sixers had to make another move.
They will sign Phillip Wheeler out of the G League to a 10-day deal. He averaged 15.3 points and 5.6 rebounds while shooting 36.7% from deep while playing for the Texas Legends and the Maine Celtics.
The Sixers need as many bodies as they can when considering their two-way players are running out of NBA days.
