The Orlando Magic are looking to jump start their league worst offense. At the start of the season, they moved Markelle Fultz into the starting lineup to try and give their offense a boost.
On Wednesday, The Ringer’s Kevin O’Conner reported that the team is interested in acquiring San Antonio Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan to possibly to provide a further lift.
DeRozan can become a free agent this summer by declining his $27.7 million player option. But as O’Conner notes, the Spurs could move the guard sooner.
“Multiple league sources say the Magic are scouring the trade market for scoring help and have already expressed interest in trading for DeRozan,” O’Conner writes.
