The ACC announced on Wednesday that it will be moving all of its neutral-site championship events out of the state of North Carolina, citing the state's House Bill 2 as being inconsistent with the league's commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and non-discrimination.

House Bill 2, also known as HB2 or the "bathroom bill," has been a point of tension in the state of North Carolina since it was passed in March 2016.
