Russell Westbrook is heading to his fourth team in four seasons.
The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Thursday that the Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Lakers have agreed on a trade that involves Westbrook and several key Lakers players.
The Lakers reportedly would send Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and the No. 22 pick in this year's draft to the Wizards for Westbrook, a 2024 second-round pick and 2028 second-round pick. Harrell reportedly opted into his player option for next season before reports of the trade, giving the Lakers another asset to make the deal.
