Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner is expected to return from his ankle injury for the regular-season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport, citing a source, added "the team wants to see how he is after he warms up to be sure."
Consideringthe Steelers may be withoutAntonio Brown, who is dealing with a knee injury, this would provide a major boost for both the rushing and passing attack.
The Steelers enter Sunday's contest needing to win to stay alive in the playoff race as they still have a chance to win the AFC North or land the final spot in the AFC playoffs.
