Report: Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes' Ankle Injury Had No 'Major Setbacks' vs. Bengals

Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes is in "good shape" after suffering no "major setbacks" from his ankle injury in Sunday's win over the Cincinnati Bengals, per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

Mahomes is on track to face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII on Feb. 12.

Mahomes gave Chiefs fans a scare early in the AFC divisional round against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was attempting to scramble when Jaguars defensive end Arden Key was tackling him and his ankle got rolled up.

After trying to play through the injury, Mahomes went to the locker room and got taped up.
