Report: Chiefs' Equipment Mistakenly Sent to New Jersey Ahead of Patriots Game

An equipment container for the Kansas City Chiefs ended up in the wrong location ahead of their game against the New England Patriots, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The shipment contained some of the team's shoulder pads, helmets and footballs and was supposed to be unloaded in Boston on Saturday. However, it remained on the plane and continued onto Newark, New Jersey.

It's currently being rushed back up to Boston for the team's game at 4:30 p.m. ET, and it's expected to arrive at 3 p.m. ET. If they don't have the equipment in time, the Chiefs will be forced to forfeit.
