Report: Bayern to sign replacement defender if Kim Min-Jae departs

Vincent Kompany would find an adequate back up if the Korean centre-half leaves in summer.

Should Kim Min-Jae leave the club this summer, Bayern would go for another centre-back in addition to Jonathan Tah.

Hiroki Itu014d is still sidelined for a lengthy period and Josip Stanišiu0107 is planned to cover both at centre-back and right-back.

Dayot Upamecano and Tah are expected to be the starting duo in defence next season.

Meanwhile, Leverkusen are playing hard ball with Bayer regarding the 29-year-old's transfer.

Die Rekordmeister, who are hoping to lure him to the club before the Club World Cup starts, could have to pay a 7-figure fee for his early release.
