One reason no one seems to know what the San Francisco 49ers are doing with the No. 3 pick in the 2021 NFL draft is because they have reportedly been looking at trades involving established quarterbacks.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the 49ers have been "monitoring" things with quarterbacks, including Deshaun Watson and Aaron Rodgers, leading up to the start of the draft at 8 p.m. ET Thursday.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported that San Francisco did reach out to the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday about Rodgers, but no formal trade offer was made.
