St Andrews (United Kingdom) (AFP) - Play was set to resume at 10:00 am (0900 GMT) Friday in the British Open second round following a three-and-a-half hour delay caused by torrential rain.

Organisers also said that all players will start as scheduled from the first tee instead off alternate 1st and 10th tee starts to make up for lost time.
