Colton Underwood is still surprised over the firestorm his video date request to U.S. Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman created.
The tight end, who is battling for a spot on the Raiders' roster this preseason, was quick to downplay his success.
"I was just asking a girl on a date," Underwood said Tuesday, via The Mercury News. "It sort of turned into something much bigger."
Underwood said he and Raisman haven't officially talked yet, but they've messaged each other on Twitter to set up the date. Underwood's teammate Andrew East is married to former Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson, and the couple has agreed to come along and make it a double date.
