QB Kyle McCord is the first Syracuse player drafted by Eagles since Donovan McNabb

The Philadelphia Eagles kept the Quarterback Factory alive during the 2025 NFL Draft, drafting Syracuse QB Kyle McCord in the sixth round.

After leaving Ohio State for the Orange, McCord led the FBS in passing yards last year and set the ACC's single-season passing yards record (4,779). McCord was raised in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, and attended high school at St. Joe's Prep, where he was a five-star recruit.

McCord is the first Syracuse player the Eagles have selected since 1999, when they selected one of the all-time greats, quarterback Donovan McNabb.
