With much uncertainty surrounding Chambers Bay, the site of the 2015 U.S. Open for the first time ever, Ian Poulter poured more gasoline on the growing fire on Tuesday. The USGA’s Executive Director Mike Davis caused a stir when he said his team were considering placing tee boxes on slopes — which would break a long-standing tradition in golf — and now Poulter says he’s hearing reports from other players that the course is a joke.
Well several players have played Chambers Bay in prep for US Open.
