Phillies Reach Deal With Eight-Time All-Star Craig Kimbrel, per Report

The Phillies reportedly inked their latest free agent on Friday after agreeing to terms with eight-time All-Star pitcher Craig Kimbrel, according Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

The deal is reportedly for one year and will net the 14-year veteran $10 million, per ESPN’s Jeff Passan.

Kimbrel, 34, will reportedly head to Philadelphia after spending last season with the Dodgers following a trade that brought him from the White Sox in exchange for All-Star outfielder A.J. Pollock in April. He appeared in 63 games, recording a 6–7 record with 72 strikeouts, 22 saves and a 3.
