Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has clarified that winning the FA Cup will not be enough to consider the season a success.
The City boss has faced a challenging campaign, dealing with several difficulties, including injuries and a drop in form from some of his top players.
Despite these struggles, City defeated Nottingham Forest 2-0 in the FA Cup semi-finals, securing a place in the final against Crystal Palace.
When asked if qualifying for the Champions League and winning the FA Cup would mark a successful season, Guardiola rejected the idea.
“No – the season has not been good,” he said.
