This time, there is no fire sale in Miami.
Just a firing.
Yep, once again.
Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria, making late New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner appear as if he had the patience of Job, fired manager Mike Redmond Sunday afternoon before he could even take off his uniform.
Redmond, who had just watched his team come within one out of being no-hit by Shelby Miller of the Atlanta Braves, walked into his office and was promptly informed that he was gone.
"We're just looking for a new voice,'' Marlins president Mike Hill said.
