Jonathan Jones is staying put after seven seasons with the New England Patriots
The cornerback reportedly agreed to re-sign on a two-year contract Monday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The terms of the agreement were not reported.
This doesn't come as much of a surprise considering Jones told Phil Perry of NBC Sports Boston in February he hoped to return to the only NFL team he has ever known.
"I would hope so. I would hope so," he said. "That's where I've spent my career. It's what I know. It's what I love.
