It’s a good thing Tom Brady’s four-game suspension for his role in Deflategate was not announced during the N.F.L. season or there might have been a run on Nevada sports books.
There has been no action accepted on the New England Patriots since an N.F.L.-commissioned report that was released Wednesday concluded that it was “more probable than not” that Brady was at least generally aware that a Patriots attendant in the officials’ locker room and an equipment assistant were deflating footballs to gain an edge on the Indianapolis Colts in the A.F.C. championship game last January.
