Picking up the fifth-year option for cornerback Patrick Surtain II "pretty close" to a guarantee this offseason, according to Denver Broncos general manager George Paton.
"That's one of the easier decisions we'll make," he told reporters Tuesday.
Paton added the team will "look into" a long-term extension with Surtain, who's eligible to become an unrestricted free agent in 2026.
