Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said Saturday he respected the decision of right guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif to opt out of the 2020 season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"It surprises anyone but I respect his decision," he told reporters.
